Bottom Game

There are three reels in the basic game. The feature entry is via an 8-stage trail, leading into the hilo trail. As well as this, nudges, reel wins etc, there is a 'wheel' symbol on the third reel. If this lands on the winline, the player is awarded a spin of the 'Sunny Money' disc on the top glass. The resulting win takes the player into the Hilo.
Also, if there are any numbers on the trail, and trail held is lit, then the 'Hilo Active' panel may be lit. The player can then guess hi/lo to increase the trail by one for each successful guess. An incorrect guess clears down the trail and cancels holds.

There is also a bonus at position 4.

Bonus Outcomes

Number Stepper
All reels step round together. Player stops best combination of numbers.
Reel Blasts
1 reel blast offered.
Nudge Spinners
A random amount of nudges are awarded. The reels can be respun at the cost of one nudge.
Skill Stop
Variable height skill stop on trail.
Respin
Reels respin - pressing hold button stops reel moving.
Boost
Adds a random amount to the trail.
Choose A Trail
Various trail positions above the current position are offered.
Trail Gamble
1 up/1 down gamble on the trail.

Hilo

Once the trail has been completed or a reel or Sunny Money win has been awarded, the Hilo feature starts. On entry, a number of bugles are lit next to some positions in the trail. When the first of these are reached, exchange into the board is available. This and every subsequent bugle reached add into the bugle count panel, and add 1 spin to the spins meter.

Board

Once in the board, the following can happen…

Water Bottle
Adds to water bottle count.Collecting 3 water bottles gives an extra life.
+x Cash
Adds x to the cash trail (starting at exchange position).
Skill
Skill stop around board (cancel slows it down).
Bugle
Adds to bugle count, and adds 1 to spins meter.
Once 3 Bugles have been collected, the spins are activated and the player can spin the disc. Any subsequent bugles add 1 to the spins meter. If the disc is spun, the resulting value can be collected or the player can carry on, and may choose to collect the value later.
If the wheel symbol is nudged in on reel 3, the disc spins. If the 3 bugles have not been activated, the player is offered a 'take it or leave it' option on the disc value.
